Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra with seat in Katowice announces a competition for the position of: orchestral musician tutti - I violin

The date of the auditions is 18 October 2021 at 10.00 AM

• only selected candidates will be invited to participate in auditions
• applications are to be addressed to the NOSPR Personnel Department, by email: rekrutacja@nospr.org.pl or by post until 8.09.2021 
• an application must contain a CV, including a description of the candidate’s artistic achievements
• a candidate must indicate whether they wish to use NOSPR’s accompaniment

Audition:

1ST STAGE:

Solo programme:

J.S. Bach - two contrasting movements from the Sonatas and Partitas for solo violin

W.A. Mozart - first movement of a concerto (with cadenza) from among: KV216, KV218, KV219.

Orchestral parts (will be announced to qualified candidates one month before the exam date)

2ND STAGE:

1st movement of a violin concerto selected from: Beethoven, Op.61; Mendelssohn, Op.64; Brahms, Op.77; Sibelius, Op.47; Tchaikovsky, Op.35; Prokofiev, Op.19, Op.63; Wieniawski, Op.14; Karlowicz, Op.8; Elgar, Op.61; Bartok, No.2;

Sheet music will be emailed to those shortlisted for the audition.
