Giuseppina Bridelli - NOSPR

Giuseppina Bridelli specialized at the Scuola dell'Opera in Bologna and at the Accademia Rossiniana in Pesaro. A winner of important competitions, she made her debut at the age of 21 in the role of Despina in Così fan tutte conducted by Diego Fasolis. Since then she has been performing the principal roles in major opera productions; working with conductors of the stature of Zubin Mehta, Michele Mariotti, Fabio Luisi, Alberto Zedda, Claudio Abbado, Leonardo García Alarcón, Raphaël Pichon, Diego Fasolis, Ottavio Dantone, Christina Pluhar, and directors such as Emilio Sagi, Peter Stein, Ferzan Özpetek, Alfonso Antoniozzi, Stefano Vizioli, Pier Luigi Pizzi, Davide Livermore, Chiara Muti, Daniele Abbado, Pierre Audi. Particularly appreciated in the classical and baroque repertoire, she regularly performs with important ensembles such as Cappella Mediterranea, L’Arpeggiata, Il Pomo d’Oro, Accademia Bizantina, La Venexiana, Ensemble Pygmalion, Le Cercle de l'Harmonie, La Nuova Musica, Auser Musici, Le Concert de l'Hostel Dieu, Stile Galante. Giuseppina is a regular guest at some of the most renowned European festivals and concert halls: Wigmore Hall in London, Bozar in Brussels, Festival de Saint-Denis, Unione Musicale di Torino, Festival d'Ambronay, Utrecht Early Music Festival, Festival de Froville, Muziekcentrum De Bijloke in Gent, MAfestival Brugge, Internationale Händel-Festspiele Göttingen, Musikfest Bremen, Festival de Beaune, Philippe Maillard concert in Paris, Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza, Fondation Gulbenkian Lisbone, Festival de l'Abbaye de Saint-Michel en Thiérache, Innsbrucker Festwochen der Alten Musik, Centre for Early Music Pietà de Turchini and Associazione Scarlatti in Naples, Opera Rara in Krakow, Centro Cultural de Belém, Auditorio Baluarte. Among her past engagements, worth mentioning are: Porpora’s Orfeo in Martina Franca with George Petrou; Cavalli’s Ercole amante (Dejanira) at the Opéra-Comique in Paris with Raphaël Pichon; La clemenza di Tito (Sesto) with Federico Maria Sardelli at the Teatro del Maggio; Le nozze di Figaro (Cherubino) in Versailles; Rappresentatione di anima et di corpo at the Theater an der Wien with Giovanni Antonini; Vivaldi’s Tamerlano/Bajazet (Idaspe) in Ravenna and Piacenza with Ottavio Dantone and Il ritorno d'Ulisse in patria (Minerva) at the Grand Théâtre de Genève.
