British Pianist Nicola Eimer has performed as a soloist and chamber music across Europe, Asia and America and has played at the major UK venues including the Barbican and Wigmore Hall.
A graduate of New York’s Juilliard School, she held a Fulbright Scholarship to study with Joseph Kalichstein. She previously studied in London with Danielle Salamon, and then with Christopher Elton at the Royal Academy of Music.
Her passion for chamber music has led to collaborations in duos as well as larger ensembles, and she has won both the chamber music and solo awards in the Royal Overseas League Music Competition. She enjoys collaborating with the Swedish violinist Johan Dalene, with whom she has performed across Scandinavia, as well as recording together for the BBC New Generation Artists scheme. They will be touring Europe in the 2021/2022 season, as part of the ECHO series.
In February 2019, her CD So Many Stars was released on Stone Records, with the acclaimed violinist Fenella. The album was very well qualified by media like The Observer, BBC Radio 3 Record Review and The Strad.
She teaches piano and chamber music at the Royal Academy of Music and she is also Head of Keyboard at Highgate School in London.
