Zoja Syguda - NOSPR

Zoja SygudaViolin

Zoja Syguda was born in 2009 in Gdansk, Poland. She started learning violin at the age of 8 at the State School of Music I st. in Wejherowo in the class of Piotr Bukowski, and is currently a student at the State School of Music I and II st. in Gdynia. From an early age, she has been developing her workshop in parallel during workshops and music courses.

In 2021 she was invited to participate in the Hungarian talent show Virtuozok in Budapest.

Her artistic achievements include dozens of top prizes at national and international competitions, including: Grand Prix of the ATMA National Competition of Artistic Individuals in Zakopane in 2023, Grand Prix of the 3rd National Young Musicians Competition in Katowice in 2021, Grand Prix of the 4th Wanda Wiłkomirska Polish Music Violin Competition in Częstochowa in 2022, and First Prize at the 20th International G. Ph. Telemann Competition in 2023 in Poznań.

The young artist's concert activities include solo performances in Poland, Germany and Hungary. In 2022, she performed twice in Poland in concerts accompanied by an orchestra: with the Silesian Chamber Orchestra, she performed the piece Variations on a Theme of One's Own, Op. 15.

H. Wieniawski, and with the Polish Youth Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Sylwia Janiak-Kobylińska, performing H. Wieniawski's Violin Concerto No. 2 in D minor, Op. 22.

Zoja Syguda received the "Young Poland" scholarship from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage in 2022 for her artistic achievements. She is under the care of the Lions Club in Gdansk, receives the Stanislaw Santor scholarship and is one of the scholarship recipients of the National Fund for Children.
