Kaleidoscope / When Chopin Was Little - NOSPR
Kaleidoscope / When Chopin Was Little
There is no need to introduce anyone to the name of Chopin, as even the youngest ones are well acquainted with it. Fryderyk Chopin was indisputably the greatest Polish composer of the Romantic era. However, it is not common knowledge that he was also an exceptionally joyous person, with a great sense of humour and a propensity to... playing jokes on his friends. We will try to transport ourselves into the times when Fryderyk was a little boy, in order to learn what he enjoyed engaging in, how he fell in love with music and what he was writing about in his letters.
Those unusual stories will, of course, be interwoven with music. In the concert, the famous mazurkas, waltzes and polonaises will come to life thanks to Michał Dziewior – a pianist who, despite his young age, has already amassed a considerable number of prizes from numerous competitions and festivals, both at home and abroad.
