The Festival of Premieres - NOSPR

The Festival of Premieres, a biennial festival of Polish modern music, has been organised in Katowice since 2005. 

Its originator was Joanna Wnuk-Nazarowa, Director General of the NOSPR. The event owes its unique character primarily to the main idea of the programme – only works which have never been performed or which so far have not had their Polish premiere can be presented during the festival concerts. During the concerts, the audience hears the works of eminent Polish composers.
